Star Exploding and it’s Black Hole Companion Article – Sunday 5th September 2021
I noticed this article yesterday but only read it just now. (Which explains the article I read yesterday).
I just have a comment that might be of interest to some. In the case where a star is involved in a sudden and unexpected accident there isn’t time for the star to react. But in the case where the star or stars can see what is going to occur, if we train telescopes on this situation you will see (hopefully it will be visible) that on every occasion, matter will evacuate the star casing before the explosion or pending event occurs.
In the case of this article above, the first star likely had an evacuation to it’s companion and before the second star casing came to complete grief, there was yet another evacuation. At which point, what has evacuated will then be seeking another star or a place to reform another star casing.
To prove this we will need to focus on those stars that are going to encounter the end of their resource. My feeling is that they tend to leave the evacuation till near catastrophic moment. Which is a bit like us really.
