It’s become necessary for me to write my work promptly, whether I feel like writing or not.
I much prefer to think on my work and the words I wish to use to write it, at my own pace, but that doesn’t suit the circumstances unfortunately.
Not very long ago I was mentioning the fact that in general, mammals all function at the same speed. I was thinking on that because at the molecular level, the speed is different to what we experience. When we film a city and the people that work and live in that city and play the film in very fast motion, we become, in a way, unrecognisable. So at our speed, we would have difficulty understanding a race, of a type, that we neither recognised nor understood, which moved so quickly we couldn’t comprehend that race in any way. And when our race doesn’t relate to a species, we tend to dismiss it as having any intelligence, consciousness, feelings, thoughts etc. Can we make use of it or eat it, is seemingly the initial view. Not very nice, but it’s accurate. The problem with that though is that it’s a very small window of the life form/entity you’re looking at and limits our understanding. That’s why it is difficult for us to contemplate consciousness with our furry friends, we have been so accustomed to the ‘old view’ that we are surprised when we learn something that was always there for the knowing, if only our view had gone beyond the limit we applied to it. Ie., Use it, eat it, sell it etc. Of course there are wonderful people who have a view beyond that, but there are a great many who still view mainly within that framework.
So, we wouldn’t know how to communicate with a race that moved at a speed much faster than ourselves. How would you say excuse me, could I ask you something? We would appear as something so incredibly slow, they couldn’t speak to us either.
When we think of ourselves, most of us probably don’t think to the time when the pair of microscopic parts met that went on to form our person. It wasn’t magic, although it is an amazing process. In my work regarding the molecular world, I theorised that two parts met and joined in the equivalent way. And though entanglement may look unrecognisable to us because we do not relate to something of that size, moving at that speed, it is the joining of the two parts that become one and the speed permits them an ability to exist in states we, again, do not relate to. If we could move that fast, we could also move in that state.
In space, I theorised that this joining is the catalyst for at least some of the stars that form and also in some of the cores of planets. Quite possibly all, but differing to one another, just as two parts joining on Earth can be a person, a polar bear or a plant for example.
