In a previous article I mentioned that the cores of the planets in our solar system are the same. In fact the core of our Sun should essentially be the same as well. Very very much larger and older of course.
They are likely in a state that we have yet to learn, with metal surrounds, a molten sphere with varying layers between that and a solid rock state for protection and density.
The planets are different ages and so are their centres. (Different ages that is). As to planets that don’t rotate, it is likely they are very old and near their end with little resource left for energy.
