Orca – Behavioural Issues Wednesday 4th October 2023

Orca exhibiting cruelty towards Porpoises. My first thought was, do porpoise eat Chinook salmon? They do.

The wearing of the salmon on the head. Orca know who is eating the bulk of their favoured food. They can’t send a letter or hold up a protest sign. They can put a salmon on their head with the assumption that people would grasp the message.

They can decide to view other marine mammals that eat their favoured food as a threat, if we aren’t leaving enough for them.

When some of us got way out of hand, we fed Christians to the lions for entertainment.

Bored Orca, at least some, are going to behave in a similar way unfortunately.

If Orca lived on land we would interact with them, we wouldn’t leave them to their own devices. The ocean is part of Earth and whether it’s land or sea, mammals need input when their intellects have expanded. I don’t think those Orca understand our thinking in this and possibly could view it as rejection.

My thought is that they would like us to eat less of their food and secondly, I believe they could benefit from interaction when they approach us on the water. As I suggested previously, some suitable sport like activities. They like fun that’s clear, and they seem to like powerful water spray and racing ecetera.

We surely can provide them some entertainment, I think they’d love it and love us all the more. And I think it would deter this negative behaviour that so frightens the other sea mammals.
