Life

In recent days there has been an advertisement on tv that I’ve heard, in part, but not actually seen. In it the man asks if we can live, well semi-permanently is what I understood him to mean.

The answer to that is we can’t unfortunately. As time goes by we’ll possibly extend our lives by a few extra years but we can’t halt the aging process. We, our living state, is dependent on our cells and the formula for cells is the same for all – they have a shelf life.

If we could live forever or for a very long time, we would get out of hand. We’d have children and we’d still be around when our great, great, great, great, grandchildren would be living, so sadly, we have to go, but its best that we do.
