Life in the Universe – 11th November 2023 (Remembrance Day)
- Life the Universe – 11th November 2023 (Remembrance Day)
I read an article recently, which I did enjoy, but the last comment was that ‘the Universe favours the existence of l and I thought to myself, I’m not sure I’m that’s the case.
It’s cold, it’s dark, no air, it’s dangerous, there’s radiation, massive explosions, stars that require distance between themselves and life so with that in mind it’s really kind of cellular life unfriendly. This planet for us is a bit like a fish tank in the living room. So long as it’s maintained, air, filtering, pump and so on, its fine, so to speak, so from that viewpoint it’s really very important that we take good care of our planet, it’s ocean and it’s variety of life that all forms that cycle. If the ocean was to sicken, that would destroy the atmosphere, so all the ocean creatures need to be present and in healthy numbers and free of pollutants etc. And the climate and *ocean currents* are essential. So it’s up to us to look after our ‘fish tank’ for ourselves, for our fellow creatures and of course our planet.
