If the first stars in this space were the very first ever and their successive explosions are solely responsible for the metal and rock that Earth is made from, for instance, then the gravity created by stars as it is now, must be different to the gravity stars created then. If it was the same then as now, then stars were aware of materials that hadn’t been created yet.
