A Further Note to Time – 19 May 2021

A thought about time travel. If we did find a method to travel in time it would or could become total chaos. My first thought was there would be people taking the winning lottery numbers back in time. Then I thought of the people who would want to go back and meet Jesus. Then I thought of scientists wanting to visit the dinosaur era and from there I realised we would make an absolute mess. It would open a door that would make it possible for us to unintentionally prevent our own existence and the existence of other life forms and this would undermine the delicate balance of timing. So to my mind, it’s a lovely daydream that is best to remain as a daydream.
