Earth and The Moon – Sunday 24th January 2021
A few weeks ago while looking through the astronomy/ physics articles, I noticed that current opinion of the origin of our moon was still that Earth had met with an impact and the moon was a part of Earth that broke away.
In my model of our solar system, our moon originated from the same place Earth did. They were always separate and they were probably positioned, in their early development, in much the same way as Venus and Mercury.
Which would suggest that Mercury could well be Venus’s future moon.
