Life – Planets – Tectonic Plates – Thursday July 4th 2024

I saw an interesting article last night and wanted to comment.
I have mentioned Tectonic Plates previously and my thought is that they are part of a necessary sequence of events. They need to occur when a planet has set down life’s layers of past life and are a necessary step for surface life and also the planet.
It forms a necessary part of maintenance for the well-being of the planet to keep it’s surface moving horizontally and vertically.
So in a sense, life drives the Tectonic Plates rather than the other way round, (in my view).
Our genome is a molecular program (in my eyes), and it isn’t possible for a molecular code to build itself knowing the future outcomes of that code, therefore the only way to know what will be tomorrow, is to have seen tomorrow at a previous time and place.
We couldn’t get to YouTube from DOS, programmers had to build from there to here.
I see evidence of previous life in this solar system and also learning, and as with DOS to YouTube, you learn what works and what doesn’t.
I realize some of the astronomy field is of the view that what occurs in other systems is a type of template for all, but I don’t think that’s quite so. The habitable zone isn’t sufficient. Everything, ie the effort required for a planet to support a surface like Earth’s, the variety, the coding, the timing, it yells ‘thought out design’ to me, no matter which way I look.
The fact we’re here, at this time, analysing all that we can find of the past to understand the how of it. This is a really strange place to find oneself in and what would almost seem impossible to exist, in the middle of space, when looking at all that is required for this planet and all it’s life, atmosphere, gravity, weather etc etc. if it’s design, then we will find evidence of that in this solar system, of the building and learning, trial and error, that was required and absolutely essential in order to defy the odds, for this planet to be, and the ongoing long-time survival and evolution and life support of it’s surface life.
Genius was required to do all this and succeed. I’m certain of it, which is why I don’t expect to find replicas of our solar system in any type of abundance.
